The pharmacy was restructured in the year 1997 under the guidance of the president Padmabhushan Sri Dr. D Verendra Heggade.After this development the pharmacy started its distribution centres throughout the state and also few centres outside the state. It now caters the needs of SDM Hospital-Udupi, Hassan, Mangalore; Chikmangalore.It actively supports the health camps and awareness programs held by SDM Hospital.
